(A couple Onnicon Ships fly out of the atmosphere of the Planet and fire photon torpedoes at the Cube)

Ghraldi: Wait a minute. Did they say resistance was futile?

Deghl(shrugs): I dunno.

Ghraldi: I’m probably wrong. Continue firing!

The Borg are up to their old tricks again when they kidnap the nano-cell infested Changelings, Shane and Shoon, to use for a great assimilation plan. It's up to the Phoenix-X and the Bochnah to attempt rescue.

The Phoenix-X is contacted by the Bochnah who warn them of the Borg. The Borg have kidnapped Shoon, their Changeling crewmember. Before the Phoenix-X can do anything, they're confronted by the Borg themselves and are raided for their spare Changeling, Shane.

The Phoenix-X, who have been working with the Onnicon in studying a distant sparkling-anomaly, selfishly use the Onnicon Planet as a base to lure the Borg over. Unfortunately, when the Borg arrive, they realize they have been lured and Transwarp out of there as fast as possible, leaving the Phoenix-X's plans abolished and a very angry Onnicon Government.

Meanwhile, Captain Daniel is confronted by Q, who claims that he must now return Daniel's half-omnipotent powers to the Q-Continuum.
