Synopsis: The Phoenix-X is given a half-destroyed Borg Cube right at their doorstep, which they plan to use to get close to the Borg Cube that kidnapped their friends. Meanwhile, Q bothers the Captain for his powers, who must be willing to let them go. The Borg Queen is able to convince Shane and Shoon to reform into one being after all these years. This gives the Borg an upper hand in Changeling assimilation procedures. The Phoenix-X, who have been continually observing a dragon-like Winged Creature in the vicinity, find a Borg Cube to attack but don't get a chance due to the Winged Creature itself. The Creature damages the Cube badly and leaves it. The Phoenix-X use this for their next plan... Meanwhile, the Phoenix-X's help is requested from the Malia homeworld. Where a Klingon with omnipotent powers seems to be running a muck. The Borg use the new Shane, under their control, for a great mission. Shane complies and sets off into space just before a Borg Cube with the Phoenix-X hiding inside arrives. The Queen's Cube battles the Phoenix-X Cube in this setting, but the Onnicons suddenly arrive, interfering. The Onnicons attack the Phoenix-X Cube aswell, making things worse and forcing the Phoenix-X to retreat. The Onnicons are satisfied with their revenge and leave. In the midsts of all the action, the Captain finds that a sparkling-anomaly was created for him, and that the dragon-like Winged Creature is really the Changeling Link. Related Links:
